Once again we have an online voting mission for all teamers. The Shorty Awards are run to honour producers of short content on social media (such as music - e.g. Panic! At The Disco.)
As of the publication of this post, Panic! is currently placed at #39, behind Selena Gomez, and in front of Irish pop duo Jedward.
We at the street team know that Panic! deserves to win for their contributions to our social experiences. We also know that other Panic! fans feel the same way. We’re asking that you take 30 seconds out of your day (it will not take longer than that) to vote for our favourite band.
What to do:
- Go Here, or click the Shorty Awards Logo.
- In the voting box section
- ‘I Nominate [ ]’, type: PanicAtTheDisco (their twitter handle)
- ‘for a Shorty Award in’, select Band
- Then tell them why in the box below. Remember, 140 characters or less.
- TWEET YOUR VOTE!
And that is it! We would love for you all to reblog or tell your own followers to also vote for Panic! At The Disco as well if possible.

PANIC FANS FOR NETS CAMPAIGN
Earlier today several band members and associates shared that due to an 102 degree fever (brought on by Malaria), Brendon Urie would be unable to perform at Panic’s Salt Lake City show. Urie later tweeted himself about the diagnosis. Most of the fan base has reached out to him via twitter by sending him good thoughts.
Three fans have gone a step further and are turning this small event into an opportunity to support charity. Fans @mmmfelicious, @brilliantsong, and @celtic_cookie have started a campaign to support the organization Nothing But Nets. The campaign, known as “Panic! Fans for Nets,” is accepting donations in hopes of raising money for NBN, which is a non-profit geared towards the treatment, prevention, and awareness of Malaria.
Everyone at ND Street Team fully supports charitable acts in the name of the band, which is why we strongly urge you to support this fan endeavor. You can donate to the campaign here. Please reblog this post, as well as share the donation link on Twitter and Facebook. For more information on the campaign, please contact @mmmfelicious, @brilliantsong, or @celtic_cookiedirectly.
In honor of their campaign, we will be auctioning off (1) one signed tour poster given to fan club members who purchased a Virtues bundle during the last summer tour. The poster will be auctioned off through The Downstore, the official webstore of ND Street Team. The Downstore will also be accepting $1 donations on behalf of the “Panic! Fans for Nets” group. If you are interested in learning more about the auction or Dollar Donations, follow @TheDownstore.
Submit pictures from any past Panic! at the Disco shows that took place in the Midwest. Please include the name of the tour, city, venue, date, and any credit with your submission. Submit photos here.
